Hey guys! Before Christmas break I was asked to make a short animation that would give the details of a women's get together at Anderson University. I spent most of my break working on this project and giving it some life. I wrote the script and a new friend of mine, Michelle Parker, was willing to do the voice over! She did an excellent job!! The video was made in After Effects and the illustrations was made in Illustrator. I hope you enjoy!

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a great Christmas with many blessings. This Christmas I decided to stay behind the camera...but not taking pictures. I wanted to make a short film of Christmas morning. I threw it all together right afterwards and came up with this. I used Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Apple Color in making the video. I recommend you watch it in HD. Enjoy!

DIY Shoulder Mount
Hey guys! I have been having a hard time keeping my Canon 60D stable while I shoot footage, especially with my 50mm on. So I did some research and discovered a shoulder mount. This would be the perfect remedy! I didn't have a couple hundred dollars to spend on something that was basically a piece of plastic. I decided to make my own. I gave my dad the "blueprints" of how I wanted it to work. He gathered the materials and we both made it in a night basically. My dad added a couple more features which helped a lot. It's made of plastic and medal rods. Its super light and works like a charm!

Meet Joe
For my Economic class, we were given the opportunity to enter into a video contest about financial literacy. The organization is called Share the Wealth. My roommate and I teamed up and decided the subject should be budgeting. After brain storming we drafted a script and ideas for the animation. It took me roughly seven hours to complete the animation in After Effects. Share the Wealth will announce the winners on December 14, 2011. Hope you enjoy!
